Most importantly Buster enjoys the school very much and if we could we would stay all year round for that reason. I am very impressed how well our arrangement has worked and how flexible the school has been to accommodate for our lifestyle being in Verbier only part of the year. This has enabled Buster to stay on top of his studies both in Sweden and Switzerland.
We moved to Switzerland from California for the Spring term of 2017. LVIS was a great educational and cultural experience for our three children. They received the educational challenges and support they needed to advance. In particular their language skills in French improved dramatically. I would highly recommend the school to any family considering relocating to Verbier. We wish we could have stayed longer.
We have received great service from LVIS from day 1. Good and encouraging teachers, small classes, good communication between the school and parents.
My daughter Lana (13) has attended LVIS for many years. In times of personal difficulty, she and we as a family have been supported beyond measure! She thrives and loves going to school every day, which in my opinion is by far the most important element in a human being’s association with learning and furthering their capacities throughout a lifetime! I can honestly say, that I can not imagine ( and given my experience with my elder son and friends families) any other learning institution to be that helpful and supportive, always with first our daughters finest interest at the heart of the matter! Thank you LVIS
My son is happy going to school, doing great things and learning... This in itself means the most to me. Beside this, the thing I appreciate most is the regular involvement of the parents in the education of the children. Bravo, keep going, kind regards, Pascal
Just a great school. What I particularly appreciate is the following: 1) recognition that there is no “one size fits all” education 2) flexibility and willingness to allow parents to tailor their child’s education 3) thoughtfulness and lack of dogmatism
The Headmaster is very involved in the school and the children on a daily basis. The staff commitment is also at an exceptionally high level and we feel they have the best interest of the child at heart. We are very fortunate to have Miss Pickard as the childrens teacher and she goes above and beyond what I would expect from any teacher and could not recommend her highly enough. The after school activities which are included in the fees are also a huge added bonus and are fun, interesting and divers for the children. All in all our experience so far could not have been better and we are so happy we moved the children to LVIS from another private school in Switzerland.
Our children attended LVIS for 2 years and loved every bit of it. The teaching is excellent, the student body wonderful, fun, feel. We couldn't have enjoyed our experience more, nor have higher recommendations. If you're considering moving to Verbier, or doing a ski term or year or two in Switzerland, I can't recommend this school highly enough.
LVIS is a school who works very close with students and parents. Pupils are seen as individuals, they do not have to fit in a box. The teachers we have are just fabulous. The children go to school with so much joy- i have not seen that elsewhere - I guess that says it all!!!
